ARCHIVE: Senior Art Exhibit
Belton, Texas – From April 30 to May 5, the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor will host an exhibition of works by three senior students in the Arla Ray Tyson Art Gallery in the Townsend Memorial Library on the UMHB campus
Alec MacLaughlin and Abigail Davidhizar are Visual Communications majors from Temple and Huntsville, respectively. They will each be exhibiting works of digital graphic design made as advertisement and logo work. Ellen Buhrow is finishing her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Studio Art along with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish. For the exhibit, she has produced a series of paintings attempting to capture the emotional connection between couples that have pledged to love each other in marriage.
Admission to the exhibition is free and open to the public. The exhibits are available for viewing Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
