Belton, Texas – Kim Spradlin, winner of the twenty-fourth season of Survivor, will be the chapel guest speaker at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor on Wednesday, November 14, at 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. in the W. W. Walton Chapel on the UMHB campus. The event is free and open to the public.
As one of 18 contestants in Survivor: One World, Spradlin spent 39 days juggling alliances, friendships, and loyalties before she was voted the season’s champion. She walked away with not only the show’s $1 million prize but also an additional $100,000 for being voted the Sprint Fan Favorite.
Spradlin grew up in Midland, TX. She is the daughter of Temple High School’s head football coach and athletic director, Mike Spradlin, and she attended UMHB in 2001. She was a member of the First Year Council and represented the freshman class in that year’s Miss MHB pageant. She later graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio and opened her own bridal boutique in San Antonio.
