Waco, TX - The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's tennis team faced by far its toughest challenge of the spring as the Cru travelled to Waco to face Baylor University Wednesday night. UMHB fell to the Bears, ranked 12th in the country in NCAA Division I 7-0 in the match. Baylor swept through the doubles matches to take a 1-0 lead with the doubles point. The Bears then claimed all six singles matches for the victory. The loss drops the UMHB men to 0-2 in dual match play this spring. Baylor improves to 10-4 on the spring with the victory.
The Cru men will now return to American Southwest Conference West Division play on Friday. The UMHB men and women will play host to McMurry University for a 2:00 PM start at the Yvonne Li Tennis Center.
