Belton, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor College of Christian Studies will hold a Ministers Forum on Thursday, February 10, in the Shelton Auditorium from noon to 1:00 p.m.
Dr. J. A. Reynolds will present One Person Can Make a Difference: Richard Furman, Denominational Architect. Richard Furman was the pastor of the First Baptist Church of Charleston, South Carolina, 1787-1825, and was active in the Charleston Baptist Association, 1778-1825. He served as President of the Triennial Baptist Convention, 1814-20, and as President of the South Carolina Baptist Convention, 1821-1825. His life illustrates well that one person can make a difference.
The College of Christian Studies of the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor offers it’s Ministers’ Forum for ministers and laypeople that have an interest in various topics of a contemporary theological nature.
The Ministers Forum is free and open to the public. Bring a brown bag lunch if you desire.
