Belton, Texas – Miss University Singers, Linny Mitchell, was crowned Miss Mary Hardin-Baylor 2014, Saturday, November 9, in the annual Miss MHB Pageant at the university.
Mitchell was crowned on Saturday by the reigning Miss MHB Kat Pasichnyk.
First runner up was Miss Freedom Movement, Lauren Ribera. Second runner up was Miss Junior Class, Kayla Upshaw; third runner up was Miss Senior Class, Alyssa Martinez; and fourth runner up was Miss Cru for Life, Kelsey Kunk.
Mitchell was also selected as the winner of this year’s Miss Congeniality, which is an award voted on by the other contestants for the individual most exhibiting Christ-like behavior. Miss Gamma Beta Phi, Kim Jones, earned Best Talent honors. Miss Search Cru, Emily Steele, was selected as this year’s Best Interview.
