Belton, Texas – Miss McLane Hall, Kat Pasichnyk of Temple, was crowned Miss Mary Hardin-Baylor 2013, Saturday, November 10, in the annual Miss MHB Pageant at the university.
Pasichnyk is a 19 year-old sophomore English major from Temple, Texas. She is the daughter of Rob and Liz Pasichnyk. Kat has been involved in Stunt Night, Cru Knights and Easter Pageant. Her platform during the pageant was “Rediscovering Beauty and Identity in Christ.”
Pasichnyk was crowned on Saturday by the reigning Miss MHB Lauren Rodriguez.
First runner up was Miss Search Cru, Ashton Ellegood of Mesquite. Second runner up was Miss Freshman Class, Lydia West of Gatesville; third runner up was Miss Baptist Student Ministry, Lauren McKee of Belton; and fourth runner up was Miss Gettys Hall, Meredith Davis of Duncanville.
Miss Johnson Hall, Krystal Draper, was selected as the winner of this year’s Miss Congeniality and Best Evening Gown Walk honors. Miss Government Association, Rylee Heckathore, earned Best Talent honors for a monologue about the true love she discovered her freshman year. Miss Farris Hall, Daniella Loera, was selected as this year’s Best Interview.
