Belton, Texas – The third Highways & Byways: a traditional and folk music concert series will welcome to the stage singer/songwriter Emily Kaitz with Outside The Lines on Saturday, January 29, at 7 p.m.  This concert will take place in Hughes Recital Hall on the UMHB Campus.  The cost is $10 at the door.

Emily Kaitz, a Fayetteville, Arkansas, resident since 1998, cut her musical teeth in Austin, Texas, where she lived for 21 years and played “every place that had original acoustic music and didn’t pay enough.”  She has written songs recorded by Trout Fishing in America, The Therapy Sisters, and The Austin Lounge Lizards and has recorded six albums of her own.  She will perform with Outside The Lines, her eclectic Arkansas trio including Stan D'Aubin on the mandolin and vocals and Ed Nicholson on the guitar and vocals. .
