Belton, Texas—In recognition of Black History Month the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor College of Christian Studies will host a special forum Thursday, February 9, at noon in the Shelton Auditorium of the Mabee Student Center on the UMHB campus.
George Harrison, Director of Digital Media Services/Cultural Affairs, will be making a presentation entitled “Glory, Glory Hallelujah -The Joy and Cost of Choosing Jesus -The Untold Story.”
This presentation will feature the evolutionary development, contributions, and history of the Black church and its music. It will follow a movement that has its origin rooted in America’s past.
This event is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lunches.
