Belton, Texas – Anthony Campolo, Ph.D., Professor Emeritus at Eastern University in St. Davids, Pennsylvania, will be the chapel guest speaker at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor on Wednesday, September 18, at 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. in the W. W. Walton Chapel.

Founder and President of the Evangelical Association for the Promotion of Education (EAPE), Dr. Campolo has worked to establish schools and universities in several developing countries and support programs for at-risk children in cities across North America.

Dr. Campolo is a media commentator on religious, social and political matters. He has appeared on many television programs, including The Colbert Report, Nightline, Politically Incorrect, and Larry King Live, as well as on CNN and MSNBC News. He is the author of 38 books, including: Choose Love Not Power, Stories That Feed Your Soul, Red Letter Christians, A Citizen’s Guide to Faith and Politics, and  Letters to a Young Evangelical.

Dr. Campolo is an ordained minister and has served as a pastor in American Baptist Churches in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Dr. Campolo and his wife, Peggy, live in thePhiladelphiaarea and have two grown children and four grandchildren.
